What can I expect? A great day out. You will be greeted and treated courteously by our guides. We use 19ft fibreglass lake boats and you can fish in comfort and safety, with a bit of craic. Our guides will take you to the most likely spots to hook your fish and will work hard to find the best drifts for you. We will stop for lunch when you are ready on one of Lough Corrib's many islands or along the shoreline, if you prefer. Remember that it's your day out and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
What level of angling skill do I need? You do not need any level of skill. You can be a beginner or a first timer. Our guides will be happy to coach and instruct you. Alternatively feel free to embarrass our guides with your skill and knowledge.
What gear do I need? Warm clothing by means of rainproof jacket and leggings. A lifejacket is essential and bring along whatever fishing tackle you have. But don’t worry if you forget something - we can supply rods, lifejackets or whatever you need.
Can I bring my children along? Certainly, however, with younger children we prefer that they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Can you supply lunch? Yes, but iif you require specialist food please give us plenty notice.
Can I tell lies about the fish I caught or the one that got away? Absolutely! Our guides have medals for their skill in telling whoppers about the size of the catch and will be happy to relate fibs of such fantastic proportions that your friends will be in awe of your brilliance!
